MEXICO -
Amextra (www.amextra.org): Born from an on-going relationship with Eugenio Araiza, we are excited to announce our newest partnership with Amextra. Amextra, a Mexican founded and run non-profit organization, serves Mexico's most marginalized communities through the promotion of holistic transformation, community participation, and unconditional service. We are pleased to have the opportunity to work with Amextra and look forward to being a part of their process as we continue to develop our partnership.
INDIA -
BHARATHIYA VIDYA NIKETHAN (BVN): BVN is a home for orphaned and underprivileged children. We focus on bringing transformation into the live of the marginalized and forgotten children of India. BVN, located in the city of Mysore, is a sanctuary for these precious little ones. Currently, we have 56 children with us. By imparting the life-changing truths from the Word of God, CMFI is making a significant difference in the lives of these wonderful children. Click here to see photos from BVN.
BENSONS HIGH SCHOOL: Bensons High School, established in 1982 in the city of Belgaum, Karnataka, is more than just a school…it is a place where future leaders are educated. At Bensons, we believe that every child has the potential to have a positive impact on the nation of India and we endeavor to develop their skills as future leaders of our country. However, we did not start the school in the city, but it was intentionally established in a slum so that children from the slum/villages get an opportunity to receive an excellent education. Bensons is the only school in Belgaum to receive 100% results on the national board exams for four consecutive years. The school has classes from KG-High School with 900+ students in attendance.
BENSONS INTERNATIONAL ACADEMY: Bensons International Academy started its first academic year in June 2004 with 8 students. Today the school has grown to 95 students with classes ranging from KG-5 grade. This elementary school situated in Mysore city has gained a reputation for excellence in education.
Thailand
NewSongBangkok! NewSongBkk recently held their largest church gathering yet! They now have 5 new verges (convergence of mid-size and small groups). Also, a couple of weekends ago 70 people went on a leadership retreat.
Children in the Slums of BKK: NewSong Bangkok has launched a ministry teaching English to children living in the slums of Bangkok. Every week they love these children without strings.
